We do still have room for our Arizona Mission Trip July 26th - August 4th, 2012. If interested, please e-mail Pastor Rob for more information. We need Campbell soup labels for the mission trip. Please start saving them now, we will also be collecting them throughout the year in the Lifehouse on Wednesday nights. The Indian School collects these and receives money from Campbells for the labels collected. We will take all the labels with us on our trip in July. There is a can set up on the Youth Kiosk in the Church Lobby for you to drop them off.

Persecution Night
March 9-10 - “Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.” Hebrews 13:3 - These words were penned 2,000 years ago with the understanding that living for the Lord meant suffering hardships in this world. We will take a night of understanding what it means to be in bonds with those around the world. We will face some hardships, but understand just a taste of what many around the world suffer through for The Lord Jesus. We will look at actual people in chains today and pray for those who persecute. It will be one tough night, can you take it?

There is no cost for the night but I do need help from you parents. The morning after (at 9:00am), I would like to have a breakfast for all the participants. I would love it if each parent of the students could bring a dish for breakfast that morning to the Lifehouse. They will not be eating all night and we want to finish it up with a great meal for them in the morning.

The night will mainly consist of going through exercises, running, etc. There will probably not be any sleep, at times only 20 minutes if that. No student will be hurt in any way. Our goal is to bring to light the many that are tortured around the world for their faith. I would appreciate it if everyone could keep this to yourselves as I want to keep it as much a mystery to the students as possible. It will be a great night, very reflective on how blessed we are in America but also prayer and help for those in need around the world.
