L1FE1mpact STUDENT MINISTRY
one l1fe.... one 1mpact

Here is the area where students really could care less about hanging out but a parent may want to stop by and get info on 'stuff'! All students going off campus are required to have a permission slip. Please print this form out and return with all the information filled out. Non-notarized slips are thrown away after each event. Those that are notarized are kept on file for the calendar year. If your student is going out of state, permission slip REQUIRES being notarized.

N.E.T.M.A. (Nobody ever tells me anything)
The Netma is a weekly to bi-weekly (depending on how my week is stacked) e-mail that I send our concerning upcoming events as well as info, volunteer request and overall information concerning the minsitry. Once again, send an e-mail to Rob requesting being added to the list. To get connected with the Parent Link, fill out the form on this page.

Quarterly Parents Meeting
Begining in March '07, we will begin to have quarterly meetings with parents and L1FE 1mpact Student Ministry staff members as a way for you to get to know your students leaders as well as an opportunity to address or express any issues, concerns or ideas concerning the ministry. This is not used as a lambasting session, but rather a time to help one another in the partnership for the spiritual growth and maturity of your child through understanding of your child's needs as well as prayer for your family. All of us need help, as such we need parents to help us teach, direct and guide your students into a lifetime of following Christ.

Weekly Student Bulletin
The Student bulletin compiles a list upcoming events as well as insights into what the Youth Ministry is doing. This is the most effective and informative piece of paper you will receive from us. Your students are given this every Wednesday evening and it is available in the foyer in the information queue. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that each parent get one of these every week. We state that if it is not in the bulletin or on the NETMA, "WE AIN"T DONIG IT"! Not to say that your child would ever tell you a story about a youth function going on, but a way for you as a parent to stay informed.

Essential Connections Devotional
All the time I am asked by parent's to suggest a devotional they can do with their student. We supply a monthly devotional in magazine format entitled "Essential Connections" (EC) located outside the youth rooms upstairs. It is a great scriptual resource produced by Lifeway Christian Resources and helps students and parents connect  to what the Bible teaches and is relative to the cultural and sociological issues students face today with Scripture references to help in their personal quiet time. This resource in no way should ever take the place of the Bible but rather to be used as a guide in developing and shaping a Bible study program over the course of their life.
Getting connected with any one of our communication tools is as easy as filling out the form below.
